Stonehouse was established to accomodate the need for fine stone, tile, marble and travertine for upsacle homes and businesses within Central Oregon. We have 3 affiliate factories in Lima, Peru that fabricate and quarry stone nearly 13,000 feet above sea level in the Huancayothe region of the Andes Mountains.

Travertine and marble from Peru have many features that similar stones from other countries do not have:

• Peruvian travertine is denser & stronger than other travertines.
• Peruvian travertine is less porous than other travertines and it has a rare and wide range of rich and beautiful colors.
• U.S. customs duties are not charged for Peruvian travertine & marble.
• We use new state of the art Pedrini machines to cut and polish our tiles and slabs with micro beveled edges.
